The brief descriptions below are designed to familiarize you with our staff's training, professional credentials and work experience.
Dr. Drake Hawkins
Dr. Drake Hawkins is a native of Little Rock and has practiced here since 1987. He graduated the University of Arkansas with a BA in Zoology in 1983 and graduated from The University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences with honors in 1987. He is a past president of the Central District Dental Society, member of the Arkansas State Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Hawkins loves his family, enjoys golf, hunting, fishing, hiking and travel, and is passionate about his profession. He is skilled in a wide range of services with an emphasis on cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry. His commitment to excellence is obvious from the moment you walk in the door.
Dr. Gary Weisbly
Dr. Gary Weisbly is a native of Denver Colorado and graduated from the University of Colorado in 1967. He graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 1971 and has practiced in Little Rock since 1973. He is a past president of the Central District Dental Society and is a current member of the Arkansas State Dental Association and the American Dental Association. Dr. Weisbly is an avid sports fan, exercise enthusiast, and loves to spend time with his family especially the grandchildren.
Hygiene Staff
Dianne
Dianne has been a member of Dr. Hawkins dental team for over twenty years and was actually that first staff member he hired. She is an active member of the American Dental Hygiene Association and the Arkansas Dental Hygiene Association. She attended the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville and Missouri Southern State College where she received her B.S. in Dental Hygiene. Dianne loves to establish a personal relationship with her patients; we like to think they get more than just their teeth cleaned when they come to see her. She enjoys cooking, traveling, gardening and reading.
Alice
Alice is a native of Little Rock where she attended UALR and graduated Suma Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in both English and History in 1998. Alice continued her education at UAMS again graduating Suma Cum Laude with a BS in Dental Hygiene. She has been on staff with Dr. Hawkins ever since her graduation in 2000. She is an active member of the Arkansas Dental Hygiene Association and a current member of the advisory board for the Department of Dental Hygiene at UAMS. She has four generations of her family who are patients in the practice and they all swear she doesn't pay them to come here! Alice loves working with all age groups, especially children. She Cherishes her friends and family, is active in her church and adores animals. You can find Alice in her flower gardens when she's not helping patients with their smiles.
Cathy
Cathy Green grew up in the Malvern area and began her undergraduate work at Henderson State University. She completed her training at UAMS and has been a registered dental hygienist for 27 years. Cathy has been with Dr. Weisbly for the last 16 years and it has obviously been a match made in dental heaven. She loves working with Dr. Weisbly and enjoys getting to know her patients on a personal level. Cathy spends her free time with her husband, their two college age sons and the two dogs. She likes outdoor activities, sporting events, working on projects around the house and traveling.
Kristen
Kristen is the newest addition to our dental family and has brought a fresh face and perspective to all aspects of our office. A native of Hot Springs, she began her college career at Henderson State University. She finished her degree in Little Rock where she graduated with honors from UAMS with a Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene. She is an active member of the Arkansas State Dental Hygienists’ Association and the American Dental Hygienists’ Association. At work, she enjoys getting to know and learn about all of her patients while helping them to achieve the beautiful, healthy smile that they want. At home, her life revolves around her dog, Kodie, whose picture currently resides in her operatory.

Dee Dee
Dee Dee is the newest addition to our dental family and has brought a fresh face and perspective to all aspects of our office. A native of Morrilton and she brings 28 years of dental experience. She has a way of putting people at ease prior to their treatment and helping them to achieve the beautiful smile that they want. She loves her dental career and can't wait to help create your perfect smile. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, family, and friends.
Karen
Karen is a native of Little Rock and has been practicing since 1992. She carries the rare distinction of being registered and certified in dental assisting. Karen has been working alongside Dr. Hawkins for the past eight years and is invaluable in the treatment rooms. In her off time she enjoys traveling, her family, shopping, and running. If you see a lady running through the mall carrying shopping bags, it could be Karen!
Sharon
Sharon Ward brings over thirty years of experience to the office and has worked with Dr. Weisbly for the past twenty six years; now that's compatibility! She loves the personal aspect of their practice and obviously enjoys working alongside Dr. Weisbly. Sharon is an avid fisherman and spends as much time as possible with her four grandchildren.

Sharon’s here to greet you with a smile and make your dental experience pleasant. She has over sixteen years of experience in the medical profession. She has extensive knowledge and training in patient care, insurance benefits and financial arrangements. She can help you answer questions regarding appointments, insurance and financing. She loves to help people feel comfortable when feeling nervous about coming to the dentist.
Krysten
Krysten Wilkins is an El Paso, Texas native, and she graduated with honors from University of North Texas. She brings exceptional organizational and customer service skills to the office. She enjoys helping patients with their questions regarding insurance benefits and financial arrangements. In her spare time she enjoys shopping, working- out , and her three dogs and one cat.
